Kickbase is Europe’s leading real-time fantasy football experience. We help millions of fans engage with football through data, emotion and live action. Our product is growing fast — and our Product team plays a central role in shaping its future through clarity, collaboration and user-centric decision-making.

We’re looking for a Product Manager with strong technical understanding who works closely with our developers and engineering leads. This role combines classic Product responsibilities with deep involvement in the engineering process — ensuring smooth sprint delivery, excellent cross-functional clarity and fast, reliable execution. You will work side-by-side with our existing Product Manager, Engineering Leads, Design, Research and Growth.

What You’ll Do

DEVELOPER-FOCUSED PRODUCT DELIVERY

  • Coordinate and structure development sprints together with our Engineering Leads.

  • Translate user needs and product ideas into clear, actionable and technically feasible requirements.

  • Clarify edge cases, resolve open questions and remove blockers for developers.

  • Maintain a clean, prioritized and technically realistic backlog.

  • Align timelines, dependencies and expectations across teams.

PRODUCT DISCOVERY & FURTHER DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify opportunities based on user behaviour, research insights, data and community feedback.

  • Shape features end-to-end: from problem definition to specification and final delivery.

  • Write clear product specs, user flows and acceptance criteria.

  • Ensure roadmap alignment with company strategy and quarterly objectives.

  • Balance user needs, technical constraints and business goals.

COLLABORATION & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ALIGNMENT

  • Create clarity, transparency and momentum for designers, developers and stakeholders.

  • Build a strong partnership with Engineering and Product to ensure coherent, high-quality execution.

  • Communicate progress, risks and decisions clearly across teams.

  • Foster a culture of impact, focus and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management for consumer apps, ideally in an agile environment.

  • Strong technical understanding: APIs, mobile app architecture, data flows and tooling.

  • Hands-on experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.

  • You excel at structuring sprints, writing clear tickets and coordinating delivery.

  • Excellent communication skills in English — you can translate complexity into clarity.

  • Well-organized, reliable and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.

  • You are proactive, adaptive and enjoy working in fast-moving environments.

  • You use and challenge digital products daily and care deeply about product quality.

Nice to Have

  • Based in or willing to work regularly from Osijek — strong preference for on-site collaboration with our developers.

  • Proficient in Croatian (big plus).

  • Proficient in German (nice-to-have).

  • Experience in mobile-first or gaming-related products.

  • Former developer or technical background (bonus).

  • Interest in football and/or fantasy sports.
